This story is of a boy, Dev, he was a teenager, just completed his class 12, he was quite a boy, standing good 5’11 he had wheatish complexion, a good build he was not fat, but also not skinny, and could be called a hunk, he was also hairy, covered in hairs all over his body, but something no one knew about him was he was bisexual, he knew it since he was 12, but due to his homophobic family and overall environment, he chose to suppress his feelings, he also had body dysmorphia,

every time he looked at his naked form in the mirror after shower, he would be disgusted by his body, he as any teenager, felt insecure about his body, his skin color, his facial features, his cock size name it, he felt insecure about it, also years of being closted about his sexuality did not help, he forced his fake smile when ever his straight jock friends jokes, say some ‘chakka’ as an insult to anyone.

He was horrified, that what if they knew, or lets leave them ,what if his family knew abut it, his parents would disown him, he would die badly in that village where he lives.

He also had a brother in his family, apart for him parents, his brother, Yuvi, 25 yr old, living in Delhi for job, he was never present in his childhood that actively, as he was sent to boarding school and then rented out a place in Delhi for work, although he was on good terms with his brother, he still do not have any idea about his views on world, queer people, would he accept or not?, he often found himself asking this question to his infinitely busy mind.

Dev just finished his 12th grade, and scored enough to get PCM subject choice, which was also forced by his parents to him, but there was a new problem raised, his village did not have a school which would offer this subject choice as who would this someone will take up those subjects or even continue schooling in that village, so as the solution was that, he will be sent to Delhi, to live with his brother by relation, Yuvi, and continue schooling there!

It was 11:57 pm, and was the last night Dev will hopefully will be spending in his village, he had conflicting feelings in his heart, on one side he was thrilled to leave this depressing village behind and start a new life in the capital, but on the other hand, he loved this village too, and oh how could he not, he grew here, and yes his friends were homophobic,

but they were his ‘bros’, they despite being that village emotionally absent jock, they supported him in his up and down, cared that he was not left alone and would make sure he was laughing,
but what could he do now, he knew some day this day would come when he will be leaving his village, also he was also thrilled to experience what would it look like to live with a brother, he always craved a male figure in his live which would guide him, he found him considering the probability of bonding with his brother, hopefully coming out to him as Bisexual, with that said, he laid on his bed and drifted to sleep after an another hour of dreaming about his city life!

The next day, Dev woke up early, packed his bags, ate breakfast and hugged his parents goodbye, his mother cried, his father patted his shoulder and told him to take care of himself and study hard, Dev nodded, trying to hold back tears, he boarded the bus to Delhi, waving at his parents until they were out of sight. The journey was long and tiring, filled with bumpy roads and loud passengers. Dev put on his headphones and tried to sleep, but his mind raced with thoughts of Yuvi. Would his brother accept him? Would they get along? What if Yuvi was homophobic too? The anxiety gnawed at him.

Dev stared out the bus window as the countryside blurred past. ”A boyfriend.” The thought sent a flutter through his stomach—equal parts excitement and terror.

In his village, such a dream felt impossible. But Delhi? A sprawling city where no one knew him… maybe there, he could find someone. Someone who’d look at him without disgust when he confessed his insecurities about his body. Someone who’d run fingers through his chest hair instead of mocking it.

He imagined holding hands in a crowded market, stealing kisses in dimly lit alleys—clichés he’d only read about in secret online forums. His thumb traced the condensation on the glass. ‘What if Yuvi introduces me to his friends? What if one of them…?’ He shook his head, cheeks warming. ‘Don’t get ahead of yourself. First, survive meeting your brother.’ he thought to himself

Finally, after hours, the bus pulled into the chaotic Delhi terminal. Dev grabbed his duffel bag and stepped into the humid air, thick with exhaust fumes and the scent of street food. He scanned the crowd nervously until he spotted Yuvi leaning against a faded blue sedan, scrolling through his phone. Yuvi looked taller than Dev remembered—almost 6’2”, with sharp features softened by stubble. He wore a crisp white shirt rolled up to his elbows, revealing toned forearms. Their eyes met.

Yuvi’s face broke into a warm smile. “Dev!” He strode forward and pulled Dev into a bear hug. Dev stiffened for a second—physical affection wasn’t common back home—then relaxed into it. Yuvi smelled like sandalwood and faint sweat. “You’ve grown,” Yuvi said, ruffling Dev’s hair. “Almost as tall as me now.” Dev grinned, relief flooding him. “Missed you, bhaiya.” “Missed you too, boy,” Yuvi replied, grabbing Dev’s bag. “C’mon, let’s get out of this madness.”
